Privacy and Cookie Policy

Last updated:

What personal data we receive when you visit this website or book a conversation, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Data controller and scope

Your privacy matters to us. Catalizadores de Valor S.A.S. (“Catalizadores” or “we”), Argentine tax identification number (CUIT) 30-71642517-3, with its registered office at Leandro N. Alem 592, 9th floor, Office B, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, is the controller responsible for processing your personal data.

This policy describes what data we receive through www.catalizadores.com (the “Site”), how we use it, who we share it with, how we protect it, and your rights regarding that data. We process your data in accordance with Argentina’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326 and encourage you to read this policy in full.

What data we collect and when

“Personal data” means information that identifies a person or can be used to identify them. The Site has no forms of its own, so we receive personal data only in the three situations described below:

We need your name and email address to schedule the conversation. If you prefer not to provide them, we will be unable to arrange it. If you add someone else to the booking, such as a colleague, please make sure you have their permission to share their email address with us.

Sensitive data

Unless we expressly ask for it, please do not send us sensitive data through any channel. Law No. 25,326 defines sensitive data as information revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious, philosophical or moral beliefs, trade union membership, health, or sex life. We never need your payment card or bank account details.

How we use your data

We use your personal data only to arrange, prepare for, and hold the conversation you booked, and to respond to messages you send us. We also measure Site usage in aggregate, without identifying anyone, and use the technical data necessary to deliver the Site and protect it against attacks.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. If the law requires your consent for a particular use, we will ask for it before using your data for that purpose.

Your rights and how to exercise them

You have the right to access your personal data and request its correction, updating, or deletion if it is inaccurate, incomplete, or no longer needed. You may also object to our use of your data or withdraw any consent you have given us at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email contacto@catalizadores.com with the subject line “Personal data.” We will respond within the time limits set by Law No. 25,326:

The Agency for Access to Public Information, as the supervisory authority under Law No. 25,326, is empowered to handle complaints and claims submitted by individuals whose rights have been affected by a failure to comply with applicable personal data protection regulations.

Cookies and analytics

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in a visitor’s browser. It can be used, for example, to remember a previous visit or to track someone across websites.

This Site does not set any cookies of its own: no tracking, advertising, or technical cookies.

When you open the booking calendar, cal.com sets a cookie from its security provider called __cf_bm. This cookie is set by cal.com, not by this Site, and is deleted after 30 minutes.

We use PostHog to understand how the Site is used and identify opportunities for improvement while respecting our visitors’ privacy.

We measure how often the buttons for booking a conversation are clicked, in which section of the Site, and on which page. We also collect general technical information about the browser and device, such as the operating system, screen size, language, and time zone.

Our setup is configured to use no cookies and not to personally identify visitors. We do not record screens or use session replay. Analytics data is processed on PostHog servers located in the European Union.

You can view, block, or delete cookies in your browser’s privacy settings. If you block cal.com’s cookies, the calendar may not load. If that happens, email us at contacto@catalizadores.com and we will arrange the conversation by email.

We do not display a cookie banner because there is nothing to accept. If we add a tool that uses cookies in the future, we will ask for your permission first.

Service providers and international data transfers

We work with four service providers that receive some of your data to deliver their services. Each has its own privacy policy:

These providers may store your data outside Argentina, for example in the United States or the European Union. We only work with providers located in countries with an adequate level of data protection or providers that commit to protecting your data through appropriate safeguards. We do not share your data with anyone else.

Security

The Site uses only encrypted connections (HTTPS), and only the Catalizadores team has access to bookings and the emails we receive. We also choose providers that protect data using security measures recognized in their industry.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data only for the period that applies in each case:

We keep your data for longer only if a legal obligation requires it or if we need it to defend ourselves against a claim, and only for the duration of that period.

Third-party websites

The Site includes links to other websites, such as LinkedIn and Substack, which have their own cookies and privacy policies. We are not responsible for how those websites use your data, so we recommend reading their policies before using them.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when the way the Site operates or legal requirements change. The updated version takes effect when we publish it on this page. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
